Our Services and Support 

At our center, we are committed to providing comprehensive, client-centered support tailored to the unique needs of each individual. We understand that navigating systems and accessing resources can be challenging, which is why our team offers personalized assistance every step of the way. 

Employment and Benefits Support:
We work closely with clients to strengthen their economic stability by offering personalized job readiness services. This includes professional resume building, cover letter support, and job application assistance. We also provide guidance and help with applying for Human Resources Administration (HRA) benefits, including cash assistance, SNAP (food stamps), and Medicaid. For those unfamiliar with these processes, we simplify and explain the steps to ensure every client feels confident and informed. 

Government Application Assistance:
Navigating government systems can be overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Our team offers one-on-one support for a wide range of government applications, including IDNYC, Fair Fares, and other vital programs. We also provide referrals to legal service providers for clients facing immigration issues, housing court proceedings, or needing general legal guidance. 

Comprehensive Housing Services:
Our housing support services are robust and inclusive, designed to address immediate and long-term housing needs. These services include: 

  • Emergency Housing Assistance: Support with shelter entry processes, including navigating NYC’s homeless shelter system. 
  • Permanent Housing Search: Help locating and applying for long-term housing options through platforms such as NYC Housing Connect, NYCHA, Breaking Ground, and additional tools like Zillow, for those seeking private market rentals. 
  • Housing Applications: Assistance completing and submitting applications for affordable housing programs and subsidized housing. 
  • Eviction Prevention: We provide Homebase referrals, landlord-tenant mediation, help preparing for housing court, and referrals to legal representation when needed. 
  • Mediation Services: Support for resolving disputes between tenants and landlords, or tenants and other residents, before they escalate to legal action.

We believe in empowering individuals with knowledge and confidence. Every client receives ongoing, individualized support to ensure they understand their options, rights, and responsibilities. Our goal is to reduce barriers and build a bridge to stability and self-sufficiency. 

Case Management Impact 

We are proud to share that, to date, our team has provided 4,311 case management appointments. Each session represents a step toward empowerment, stability, and positive change for our community members.
